Juste
Quick answer

How does Juste work as easy NDIS software for providers and participants?

  • •Juste (ndisconnect.org) is easy NDIS software for providers and participants because its Solo membership costs $29/month (or $290/year, two months free) for an independent NDIS provider — under a dollar a day to run the whole business.
  • •Filling out your profile (services, suburb, ABN, registration and GST status) makes you visible in the public directory so participants and families can find and message you directly.
  • •Reviews are two-way — participants and families can review the provider, not just the other way around.
  • •Adding a participant, creating a service agreement and rostering the shift stops double bookings the moment more than one person is rostered with that participant.
  • •Invoicing is the core workflow: pick the participant, the correct support item and current price fill in automatically, hours and totals calculate from the times entered, and after the first invoice every later one is a duplicate you can finish in under a minute.

Easy NDIS software for providers and participants

I built Juste because I am an independent NDIS provider myself. Every shift I run, I have to do an invoice and I have to do compliance notes and shift notes - everything that has to be correct for the NDIS. The software I kept being pointed to was either built for big agencies or just wasn't easy, and the thing that mattered most to me, creating invoices, was always the slowest part. So I built the platform I actually wanted to use.

It runs at ndisconnect.org, and if you're an independent, a single person running your own NDIS business, it costs under a dollar a day. You sign up on the Solo membership for $29 a month, or pay annually for $290 a year and get two months free, which works out to even less than a dollar a day to run your entire business.

Once you're signed up you land on a dashboard with everything laid out: Overview, Agreements, Compliance, Expenses, Incidents, Inquiries, Invoices, Messages, Mileage, Participants, Profile, Reviews, Roster, Services, Shift Notes, Tax Export and Workers. It's also a directory, so the moment you fill out your profile, you're visible to participants and families who are searching for someone like you.

The first thing to do is fill out your profile properly - your services offered, your suburb, your ABN, your registration status, GST status, and a description of what you do. All of this feeds the directory's filters, so the more complete it is, the easier you are to find. I've seen agencies place a participant with whoever happens to be available for a shift and call it a match. Juste gives two-way reviews instead - participants and families can review the provider, not just the other way around - because this is meant to be about participants having a better life, not just filling a roster.

From there you add your participants (or they find you and message you directly through the platform, and their details carry straight over once you accept them), create a service agreement covering the work, pricing, cancellations and everyone's rights and responsibilities, and then roster the shift. Rostering also stops double bookings the moment more than one person is working with a participant.

Then comes the part I actually built this for: the invoice. You pick the participant, the line item fills in the correct support item and current price, you enter the date, start and finish time and it calculates the hours and total automatically, and your bank details are already saved. Save it, and it's sitting there as a draft, formatted exactly how it needs to look with your ABN, the participant's NDIS number, the service details and the GST statement. After the first one, every invoice after that is a duplicate - change the invoice number, the date and the times, and you're done in under a minute. Mark it as sent, and mark it as paid once it lands, so you always know exactly what's outstanding.

That's the whole platform: sign up, fill out your profile, fill out your participant's details, do a service agreement every time, and let the invoicing take care of itself.
